Instructor: Ms. Ari Arsani
With the school closure, I encourage all students who are able to access the educational technology resources located on the "Links" page. We have a number of resources that students can use at home. Your child's classroom teacher has provided technology resources and we use many of the same ones in the computer lab.

Please feel free to contact me at arsaniag@pwcs.edu for any help accessing these websites!

All students in grades 1-5 frequently use prodigygame.com to reinforce math skills. If your child does not have their Prodigy log in or cannot remember it, please reach out to me and I can help!

There are a number of reading and math programs available through Clever/Office 365 as well, including Wixie, Brainpop/Brainpop Jr, Dreambox, MyON, and Code.org.

Each week, I will post learning activities/challenges for each grade level to try.
Stay safe and keep learning! I hope to see all our kiddos soon!

May 18th - May 22nd

Thank you to all who came to our PE/Technology virtual sports field trips! It was so awesome to see all of you. Check out the links to the videos if you missed them or want to watch it again:

This week, we will practice improving our typing skills! We have learned a lot of websites and games that help us become better at typing. It is important to learn to type because so much work and communicating is done with a keyboard and being a good typist makes it all easier!
It is also a different way to practice your reading and writing skills.

K - 2nd: Play a typing game on abcya.com. There are so many to choose from:
Cup Stack Typing
Alpha Munchies
Typing Rocket
Jump Key
Keyboard Zoo 1 & 2
Typing Race

3rd - 5th: Log into your typing.com account (remember the username and password is the same as your student/computer log in!). If you are having trouble remembering your password, please send me an email and I can help you.
There is a new feature on this website called Assignments. When you log in, you will see an assignment that I have created. It is called Writing Prompt #1. Type a response to my question about what you have been doing during your time away from school. I can't wait to hear from you!
Play your favorite typing game or complete an unfinished lesson when you're done.

Good luck!!
